Treatment Plan
- 01
Step 1: Identify The Root Cause
During the consultation, the doctor will first clarify the reproductive and endocrine status, evaluate the direction of adjustment and the causes that require specialist treatment. Evaluation when necessary: reproductive hormone testing (six items of sex hormones/AMH), gynecological ultrasound, fallopian tube patency assessment, menstrual calendar and basal body temperature recording, TCM syndrome differentiation (menstrual cycle staging/kidney-heart-uterus axis).
- 02
Step Two: Multidisciplinary Joint Assessment
It depends on the situation. The case can be jointly evaluated by the reproductive medicine department, Traditional Chinese Medicine gynecology, andrology department, acupuncture department, nutrition department, and health management center.
- 03
Step Three: Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosis, Treatment And Conditioning
Through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), reproductive endocrine assessment, and menstrual cycle stage syndrome differentiation, the treating team formulates an individualized pregnancy preparation conditioning package combining TCM cycle conditioning, acupuncture to support conception, and physical conditioning. Conditioning usually starts with 2-3 menstrual cycles, with regular re-evaluations during this period and is connected with the assisted reproductive cycle nodes.

Home Rehabilitation Guidance After Treatment In China
The treatment plan you formulated during your stay in China can also be continued after you return to your country.
Personalized Health Assessment
These assessments you completed while in the hospital are not only the basis for the doctor to formulate a plan, but also the baseline for your self-management after returning to your country:
- Menstrual cycle and ovulation assessment: Know your menstrual rhythm and ovulation
- Reproductive endocrinology and ovarian reserve assessment (AMH/sex hormones): Assess ovarian function and endocrine status
- Ultrasound evaluation of uterus and ovaries: Observe the development of uterus, endometrium and follicles
- Syndrome differentiation between constitution and menstrual cycle in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Identify syndrome types such as kidney deficiency, liver stagnation, phlegm-dampness, and blood stasis
- Emotional and stress state assessment: Understanding the impact of emotional states on reproductive endocrinology
- Lifestyle and weight assessment: Evaluate the effects of nutrition, exercise, and weight on fertility
Personalized Health Intervention
The plan based on the assessment results is designed with the execution conditions after you return to your country in mind, and each item can be continued in the home environment:
- Traditional Chinese Medicine cycle conditioning continuation plan: Individualized prescriptions are formulated based on menstrual stages (nourishing yin after menstruation, promoting ovulation between menstruation, supporting yang before menstruation, and regulating blood during menstruation). You can continue to take the medicine according to the cycle after returning home, and the doctor will remotely guide the medication rhythm according to the cycle changes.
- Acupuncture assisted pregnancy program handover: The doctor gives you an acupuncture-assisted pregnancy plan, which can be implemented in conjunction with your local Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner to continuously regulate the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovary axis.
- Basal body temperature and ovulation monitoring guidance: Teach you to record and interpret basal body temperature changes by yourself, and continuously track ovulation and menstrual rhythms
- Diet nutrition and weight management plan: Individualized nutrition plan for pregnancy preparation, which can be implemented locally
Frequently asked questions
Can Traditional Chinese Medicine "cure" infertility?
We do not promise a cure. TCM gynecological conditioning helps improve menstrual rhythm, ovulation function and endometrial receptivity. It is often used as a collaborative method with assisted reproduction (IVF/ART) to improve overall fertility. The efficacy varies from person to person. Clear causes of infertility must be given priority to standard diagnosis and treatment of reproductive medicine. TCM conditioning does not replace standard treatment.
Is TCM treatment safe? I am trying to conceive or receive assisted reproductive treatment.
Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture are safe under standardized syndrome differentiation. However, medication for pregnancy preparation and early pregnancy must be jointly evaluated by a professional Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and a reproductive doctor. Do not take medication or adjust the plan on your own. Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners will coordinate the timing of medication according to the ovulation promotion cycle, transplant window period and other points to ensure that it does not conflict with assisted reproductive treatment.
Are language services provided?
We will arrange a medical interpreter to accompany you throughout the entire process, from pre-arrival to follow-up, with our team ensuring smooth communication.
I don't have any infertility problem, I just have irregular menstruation. Can this be treated?
Yes. Irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome, menopausal hot flashes, etc. all fall within the scope of TCM gynecological conditioning. Even if you simply want to regulate menstruation and relieve menstrual discomfort, the treating team can develop a plan based on your specific situation.
